Global TechPro announced today that NIH has awarded
Global TechPro contract on its ECS (Electronic Commodity Store)
III government-wide contract.
The National Institutes of Health's
Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC)
has selected 66 vendors with high-level security clearances to be
part of a new contracting vehicle it hopes will become the choice
for agencies seeking homeland security products and services. The
ten-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract vehicle
has a ceiling of $6 billion. Global TechPro is among 12 of these
companies that fall in the category of small 8(a) businesses.
As a prime contractor, Global
TechPro can compete for delivery orders in COTS Hardware/Software
for the National Institute of Health (NIH) and throughout the federal
government. The contract includes many off-the-shelf products for
homeland security, such as biometric tools and handheld electronic
devices.
